Cleansing God’s Sanctuaries, by Fred Mazzaferri, Ph.D. Here is a book that has long been needed! First, Dr. Desmond Ford in his 1000+ page Glacier View Manuscript showed convincingly that the SDA Sanctuary doctrine built on Daniel 8:14 was unbiblical. Studying this work and his subsequent book, Daniel 8:14, The Day of Atonement and the Investigative Judgment caused many hundreds if not thousands of SDAs to leave Adventism. Next, the church, in damage control, produced a huge Seven-Volume “Scholarly” work known as the DARCM Series. Numerous reviewers of this work concluded that it was little more than “scholarly obscurantism”. However, Adventists when challenged on their Sanctuary doctrine point to the DARCOM series and say, “Our best scholars have shown in the DARCOM series that the SDA position is biblical.” Few are able to deal with this set as it is written in technical theological jargon. Third, Cultic Doctrine, by Dale Ratzlaff, drawing from Adventist sources and Scripture, like Ford’s work, shows conclusively that the Central Pillar of Adventism is founded on sandy error, not biblical truth and is contrary to the New Covenant gospel of grace. However, Adventists are quick to point out that Cultic Doctrine does not answer the claims of the DARCOM series and therefore, the DARCOM series still stands as the ultimate work on this subject. Fourth, Dr. Fred Mazzaferri, in his E-Book As In A Mirror, addressed the DARCOM series and showed, at the same level of technical expression, its errors. However, the average reader, unable to fully grasp the Hebrew and Greek syntax, was often lost.
